Achieving your goals

When we first arrive here,we have nothing, and when we leave with nothing.
It's what is inbetween these times that matters.

Every new year we set out new years resolutions, goals. We start of great but after time it just fades away until the next new year....why?

The world is a far busier place than decades ago our minds are constantly having to REACT instead of thinking things out this means our goals are pushed to one side and out of the way.

Let me give you some tips to help you focus on what really matters.

These simple lessons can help you maintain your goal in your mind so it has a greater chance of success,in the end ,if the goal is a good one,you only let yourself down if you don't see it through.

Firstly, find a quiet spot to sit,if it's a sunny day outside this can be done outdoors as well.

Now look for a small area to focus on,a mark on the wall,a marking on a tree if you're outside, anything that stands out but isn't big.
Now allow your mind to focus solely on this spot, initially do this for 5 minutes, allow nothing (except an emergency)to take your mind of this spot.
After 5 minutes you will feel different, more focused. You are beginning to go into trance,it's self hypnosis.
Practice this for 7 days with the goal of being about to do this for 10 minutes after 7 days.

Next picture a goal you have, lets take weight loss purely as an example, afterall at new year it's a common goal.
Now instead of picturing a spot on wall etc the next time you do your focus exercise,go within your mind and picture yourself thinner, keep the image bright and big.Focus for 10-15 minutes of this image,it can be a still or you can picture your slim self as movie in real life situations,if doing the movie see yourself as you normally would through your eyes.If you want to see your slimmer body look in a mirror within your mind.
Have a notepad and pen handy in your hands ready to write so you don't have t oopen your eyes.
You will find ideas start to come to you to achieve your goal, simply scribble them down, always focus on the images let the hand simply scribbles as ideas come.

You will find these ideas are useful to achieving your goal,do this EVERYDAY (who can't spare 10-15 minutes a day to achieve a goal) for 3 weeks and you'll be starting to see results.
What you are learning is to focus the mind on getting what you want and it know how to get it if you allow it to tell you.

Also ask when you are deeper in focus if there are any things which are preventing success in your goal,ALWAYS right the first thing that comes into your mind
Some people find it hard to lose weight because they have a fear of,say dating,so by not losing weight the mind figures there is less chance of dating. These hidden fears are the ones you must bring to the surface to gain success, these exercises will help you to hold focus very well but I want you achieve your goals so as you are deep in focus ask yourself why am I trying to stop success in this goal,if an answer comes quick, write it down, look at it later once you've completed your exercise. If nothing is heard within the mind, thats good there are no sub concious barriers.

Once you have completed the exercise look at the thought that come to mind, act upon it,deal with it and your goal will be easily achieved.

I wish you all the best and if you enjoyed this post lmk and may post another helpful one.
